The Dementia friendly 760mm drop down support arm in bright red (RAL3003) is of 35mm tubular construction for superior strength and confidence with a die cast aluminium backplate for strength and rigidity. Backplate bolt holes are drilled for M8 Bolts (Fixings not supplied). The rail is ideal for upgrading existing washrooms or replacing worn or damaged rails in commercial and domestic properties.
Research from the Department of Health has shown that high contrast finishes on bathroom products, particularly red, can offer dementia sufferers additional usability and visual access promoting privacy, dignity and independence.
Please note our grab rail, drop down support arms and grab rail kits are not supplied with fixings to secure them to the wall. This is because the type of fixing required needs to be appropriate for the substrate to which the products are to be secured.
