The Dementia friendly shower head riser / grab rail in bright red (RAL3003) combines the functionality of a shower head riser with that of an additional vertical grab rail and comes complete with an adjustable height nozzle holder. The rail has a 90mm projection, and is ideal for upgrading existing washrooms or replacing worn or damaged rails in commercial and domestic properties.
Research from the Department of Health has shown that high contrast finishes on bathroom products, particularly red, can offer dementia sufferers additional usability and visual access promoting privacy, dignity and independence.
Please note our grab rail, drop down support arms and grab rail kits are not supplied with fixings to secure them to the wall. This is because the type of fixing required needs to be appropriate for the substrate to which the products are to be secured.
